About who needs care: light smoker elderly male can do things independently. Likes to play cards has minor dementia. Shakes..... needs help sometimes with that while eating soup/cereal. Uses cane and walker. Sometimes forgets to eat. Will tell you he is not hungry... when you put it in front of him he will eat. Watches tv. About the care needs: will need help with meds morning and night. Help with shower 4 days a week errands occasionally/ dr appointments if needed on occasion. Will need prep of meals daily and on weekends. And put to bed. Ask for laundry as needed and minor housework. Sweeper. Once or twice a week. Dishes/Dishwasher available. He is a widow for almost a year now. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.

I'm looking for a caregiver to do light housekeeping, laundry, meals, medication reminder and reminder to shower for a my 79 yr old father in law who lives alone in a clean house on the west side of Newark. I would like 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening, 7 days a week. Willing to negotiate days among several caregivers.

I need senior care provider with experience. Our care concerns are: Light Housekeeping, Mobility Assistance, Bathing / Dressing, Companionship, Transportation. My mother is a fall risk, she has multiple things wrong (medically) with her. I also have an 8-month-old baby who she watches for me, so the caregiver would have to help out with him as well. The hours would vary depending on my schedule from week to week.

I need help getting her up out of bed in the mornings around 8:30 a.m. I need this person to be willing to change her, clean her up and help me get her to her chair. Then I need someone to come back around 10:30-11 a.m. to help get her to bathroom and cleaned up again if she needs it. Then it would be nice if I could get someone to come out a couple times a week in the evenings to sit with her while my family spends some time together.

A little more about my mother: she can be pleasant, outgoing, independent. EVERYONE loves my mother. She is very pleasant and although she has an independent spirit she is 98 years old and does need help bathing once a week, laundry, bringing breakfast and lunch for later, make bed, dishes, etc. I'm looking for someone who is strong, fond of pets. Must like dogs and be efficient. Willing to take direction. DAYS AND TIMES FLEXIBLE! Only 1. 5 hours 3 or 4 days a week.
