Early Enrichment Home Daycare offers care for children aged four weeks to five years. The daycare setting is located on the main floor of the house, with two specialized rooms designated to the daycare. The infant room has plenty of floor space, an array of developmentally appropriate toys, and a warm and colorful setting. The second room is a free play space for children aged 3 yrs+ with a host of fun activities, toys, and games. The large garden provides a great space for warm weather play, including a climbing frame with a slide! In the colder months there will be physical activities held in the living room's empty space to help burn that extra energy through song and dance, child yoga, and more. The daycare is run as a kindergarten readiness program, with a daily schedule filled with activities ranging from arts and crafts, reading time, circle time, and academic rotation circles. No child is left out of these activities as there is something in every time slot for every age and developmental level. The goal of EE-HD is to ensure that every child is physically, academically, socially, and emotionally equipped to succeed in kindergarten when they leave our care. To this end we will only accept a total of six children at any given time, and an assistant will be hired once we reach four children. License number is pending. A little about me: I have an associates degree in early childhood education and development and have almost seven years of experience working as a nanny and later as an assistant teacher in a private preschool. Whilst working on my BA degree in education I realized my passion lay with educating at the pre-k level and chose to put my BA on hold whilst I open my own pre-k/daycare.
