My husband and I have raised four wonderful children of our own, I have a bachelor's degree in developmental psychology, and (pre-children) I worked as a professional nanny in both Seattle and Washington D.C. I am certified in First Aid and CPR and have been background checked (my husband and I are both swim coaches, as well, and work for two school districts). We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and charge a competitive $6.00 per hour rate. For less than the cost of institutional care, your child can instead spend their days in a loving home environment. We are certified by the IRS and claim and pay taxes on all of our income, so you are free to use your childcare flex-spend account or claim the childcare tax credit. Although we are currently taking a waiting list, we would be happy to talk with you and discuss how we might best meet your family's needs, should an opening become available.
