I am the former owner of the legendary Tiger Hall Play Zone which used to be on 206 in the plaza with Mayflower Cleaners. It was a funky preschool and play center hybrid. The page is still active and it gives you an idea about the former spirit of that well loved place. I sold it in the fall of 2013 in order to work on some bigger ventures outside of NJ. Unfortunately, the new owners went out of business shortly after the sale... I now own a larger center in Upstate New York called The Polka Dot Place. It is in a commercial strip mall and licensed for 38 children. I manage it from afar. The pitfall of owning such a large center that is so far away is that I am no longer interacting with children on a daily basis which has always been my passion. My eldest daughter grew up in Tiger Hall for 7 years. All of her best friends are former Tiger Hallers because they grew up together side by side. We went on field trips nearly every day, and like Ms. Frizzle and her gang from The Magic School bus we had a whole lot of hands on fun (and a pet lizard too!). I am hoping to form another tiny pod of children that can stick together from infancy/toddlerdom up to or even beyond Kindergarten (I also homeschool and provide homeschooling services).
