I can always keep an eye on the children even while prepping meals. I provide breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks. I am a Christian mother of two children. We attend church every week. My kids are a 8-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old boy. I can service the Glen Oak school area and get the kids on and off the school bus. When you leave your children at my house, you will know you are making the right choice. It is newly built and very clean, but we also have toys galore. We love to play outside every single day that weather permits. We have a swing set and small children's pool for summer. We will have so much fun learning to count and sing our ABCs. I utilize awesome websites for reading and math when they are older kids. We have two iPads for fun toddler apps like tracing numbers and matching games and color/shape recognition. I am very creative with our craft ideas and also love teaching by way of sensory fun such as drawing letters in sand or shaving cream. My hours are 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. These are my set hours, but I am available for times outside of this for an additional fee so that you can work late, grocery shop, doctor appointments, or date night. I have a great group of children that are looking for a new playmate to share smiles, laughter, and fun. I have one full time opening for ages 1 1/2 to 4 years old. We have a wonderful playroom for the children. This provides a fun and safe area that is just for the children. Our backyard offers outdoor fun for all! The yard is enclosed with a 6' privacy fence and the play area is mulched with lots of play equipment. There is plenty of grassy area for running and playing. Our home is smoke-free, pet-free, clean and well-organized, while still being welcoming and comfortable. Our day is routine and lightly structured, I keep meals and nap times on a consistent time schedule. During the &quot;school year&quot;, we have planned learning activities. Our activities are pre-planned and are included in the monthly newsletter and calendar. I try to keep the learning fun, age-appropriate, and engaging for all ages of the children in our group. I provide the extra attention that home based care provides, along with preschool activities that promote early learning in a much smaller setting. I was registered with Action for Children 1989 through 2016. Sadly this program has been discontinued. My husband and I have been fingerprinted and have background checks with local and federal databases, including the sheriff's office and a background check with Children Services.
