I was able to babysit a child in my neighborhood, only because I had my family right down the street that was able to help at any time, which never became necessary. When I was 15 I started working in a local restaurant called Villaggio Grille. Within a couple of months my boss wanted to hire me as her babysitter for her two kids age 2 and 4. When I turned 16 and able to drive, I became there part-time nanny. I started picking them both up from there schools, watching them for days sometimes, and running errands for the kids and there parents. I continued with this job for two more years, gaining as much knowledge as I could. I grew to love these kids as if they were my own, and I hope I get the chance to do the same for you and your family.
