My years as a mother and childcare provider have taught me innumerable lessons, such as the value of fostering creative thinking; the importance of outdoor play, musical enjoyment, and story time; as well as the power of independent reading, problem solving and self-help skills. I always discuss any concerns - physical or behavioral - with parents, and I view strong communication between families and myself with the highest regard. Although it's always sad to see the children grow up and move on from my home daycare to preschool or pre-K, parents can be confident that their children are prepared to thrive and succeed in a larger environment.
