Welcome to Saint Columbkille Partnership School, the only lab school in Boston for pre-K to grade 8 students. We are among a small group of schools across the world with a unique and strong collaboration with a leading research university, allowing for a tailored and more thoughtful approach to your child's education. The Early Childhood Program at Saint Columbkille is where young students encounter the joys of learning, discovery and growth. The program is grounded in a curriculum that encourages purposeful play and social development. A rich academic curriculum designed by the Lynch School of Education and Human Development at Boston College ensures learners will have the skills necessary to be successful in elementary school. Teachers are exceptionally qualified and have or are working toward masters degrees in early childhood education. Small class size and support from assistants allow teachers to know each child in their classroom, to understand an appropriately respond to their academic and social needs, and to communicate regularly with families about their child's progress. As children grow socially and intellectually within a comprehensive and integrated curriculum, they are introduced to the elements of Catholic education exploring biblical themes while learning that they have a responsibility for others. The pre-K 2.9 program is for students who will turn three by December 1. The pre-K program is for 3-year-old students and the K1 program is for 4-year-old students. All programs are full day.
