ANDREA'S ANGEL ACADEMY GRAND OPENING!! Hi! Thank you for taking the time to learn about Andrea's Angel Academy! As owner and primary caregiver for the little Angel's in my care, I can promise you nothing short of the highest quality care for your child age newborn-12 years old. I currently have 4 full-time day positions available, and will take part-time during odd hours on an as needed basis. I am offering 24/7 care for those parents who don't work the 9-5 schedule. As a mother of 3 myself, I know first-hand how difficult it can be to find quality care. It is often unnerving to see some people that are offering child care, and I have decided to make it my mission to offer the best, therefore giving you the peace of mind that you are seeking. This summer at Angel Academy is going to be VERY busy! We will go on field trips several times per week, generally at no additional cost to you! The children will have a ball, and will be learning while they are here. From infancy on up, I strongly believe in a caring, intellectually stimulating environment. We will have structured days, with room for breaking the schedule, as we all know that little ones are sometimes unpredictable!! Your little angels will enjoy days filled with circle time, free-choice play time, outside time, story time, craft time, music time, and field trips. They will also have monitored computer time, with the younger ones learning on abcmouse.com. Your children will NOT be in front of the TV all day. Your children will be served wholesome, nourishing meals. I stay away from as much processed food as possible and use a lot of organic fruits and vegetables in my cooking. I will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and 2 snacks. As a MO licensed foster parent, a MO certified substitute teacher, and a CNA, I have undergone numerous background checks, and I am listed on the Family Care Safety Registry. I am also certified in BLS for infants, children, and adults, First Aid, Level 1 Med. Aide, Insulin Admin., and Abuse and Neglect. Due to my certifications, I also attend several hours of additional trainings each year. I have experience working with children with special needs as well. All children will be working daily on reaching age-appropriate milestones. Pre-K children in my care will without a doubt have the necessary skills needed for entering Kindergarten. With an education background, if there are specific areas where you would like for me to work with your child, I can accommodate that as well.
