Belleville Child Care, Preschool & 4K

220 Evarts Street Belleville, WI

< 1 mi

I am a mother of two who started professionally caring and teaching young children after I could not find adequate care in the Belleville area. I then started Belleville Child Care, Preschool & 4K. Belleville Preschool is a professional in-home Preschool and Childcare, providing a curriculum and structure like a commercial care provider but then providing the individualized care and attention of an in-home care provider. We follow an educator-approved early Math, Science and Reading curriculum. The children love to plant, tend to and harvest our fruit and vegetable gardens. We learn our ABC's and 123's as well as learn strong social development skills. I am an educated teacher, studying English throughout college and, to make sure I am adequately prepared, I've recently taken Early Education, Child Development and Child Psychology coursework. I'd love to hear from you and your family. I am open and flexible to full and part-time students from the greater Belleville area. -Lindsay Brockert

The mission of K & K Family Child Care is to provide comfortable, secure, and nurturing quality child care, and encourage and support children as they expand their knowledge in each domain of learning (social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and moral) by maintaining a safe, high-quality environment staffed by a highly qualified provider; and to reconnect children with nature by playing and learning outside. Thank you for your interest in K & K Family Child Care! I, Kristol Unterseher, have been a licensed child care provider in the State of Wisconsin since 2001. K & K was formed in 2001 between myself and my best friend, Kelly Walsh, in Madison, WI. In 2002, the child care moved to my home in Madison and I became the sole-proprietor. In 2018, K & K moved to Verona and became a Limited Liability Company, with myself as the sole owner. I long ago completed the required forty hours of licensing coursework and I continue to meet standards for state licensing, including training, discipline, hygiene, safety, nutrition, program activities and keeping the policies of K & K Family Child Care. I am and will remain certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. I have completed over 500 hours of child care coursework, including the following courses: Infant/Toddler, Skills & Strategies for the Child Care Teacher, Guiding Children's Behavior, Center Director, and the annual Launching Into Literacy and Math early childhood education conferences. In 2008, I started a Child Care Mentorship Program for teenagers interested in early childhood education. In 2009, I completed the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Credential Program for Child Care Administrators. I am a member of 4-C (Community Coordinated Child Care) and a participant in their Food Program. I continue to take courses relating to children in order to better my knowledge and understanding of children, above and beyond the fifteen hours per year of continuing education required by state licensing. A group size will be maintained that does not exceed State Licensing Standards (which the parent is encouraged to review). The license certificate and results of the latest monitoring visit will always be posted. Among other things, I provide Huggies diapers and wipes, Gerber baby food, Parents' Choice infant formula, and nutritious meals.

3991 Old Stone Road Oregon, WI

I am offering childcare in my spacious, clean, modern home. I have taught kindergarten for 25 years at the same school in Stoughton and have retired a bit early to see my grandchildren a bit more and care for a couple more children. I have experience taking care of newborns, 6 weeks old to school aged children over the years because I love spending time with children. I have 3 children, ages 46 years old, 40 years old, and my youngest would have been 32 this year. I have 7 grandchildren, aged 5 to 21 years in age. I live 1 mile off Highway 14, 20 minutes south of the Madison Belt Line. I live 10 minutes from Stoughton, 10 minutes from Oregon, and 10 minutes from Evansville. I have finished teaching my kindergarten class mid June of 2015 and have started to watch children that summer part-time. I am currently watching children, (4 children per day), various days per week (various ages, 5 to 8 years old presently) and will lose all 4 children in September when they start kindergarten or go back to school. So I will be starting all over again with new children! I am a non-smoker, have no pets in the house, and I have updated my CPR and First Aid training (infant and child). I have done a background check and have great references. I wish to care for 3-5 children each day. I believe you will see that my extensive experience enriching children's lives is worth you considering me! I hope to hear from you soon! Cyndi

I am a mother of 2 girls, ages 5 and 6, and a boy of 6 months. Starting on June 11, I will have 3 full time openings available for childcare. My yard is fenced and there is plenty of space to play both inside and out. My house is smoke free and nut free and I am willing to accommodate any allergies that may be an issue for your child. This summer we will be walking to the park daily for swimming lessons, and to the library at least once per week. I do have a bus stop and would be very happy to do wrap-around care for your 4-K or elementary student when school starts up again. I am a very crafty do-it-yourselfer, and I have lots of projects lined up for us this year. I am comfortable with formula and breast milk, as well as cloth or disposable diapers. I do have back-up care available so that day care will remain open in the event that one of my own children is sick. Hours are 7:00 to 5:30 M-F. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
