Anyone can walk a dog, but can anyone handle an aggressive untrained dog? Do you really think just anyone cat-whisper? Is the average pet-sitter experienced with weird little scale-y dudes? Fishy dudes? Too-many-legged dudes? Can just anyone safely handle livestock? Or exercise horses? No. But I have experience and training in handling aggressive and untrained dogs, non-people-friendly cats, normal lizards, snakes who disdain food, arachnids, aquatics, amphibians, various livestock and poultry, and half-broke horses. Nothing scares me, I've been bit, scratched, and knocked over. I have worked with horses since I was 5 so I really do have no fear. In high school I volunteered in disaster/emergency preparedness so I'm really calm and level-headed, which tends to put animals at ease. But don't worry! I'm not all work and no play! Training only works if there's a reward! Your pet will have plenty of fun with me! All animals get kisses.
