I have always loved animals; they are truly like members of the family with personality and are amazing creatures. When I was 12, I volunteered at Animal Adventures in Bolton, and gained much knowledge about exotic animals, farm animals, and a variety of other perhaps more "unusual" pets. I have been working since I was 16, working at Petsmart for 6 months before moving to a different full time job. My favorite experience was being present to help my dog whelp her 5 puppies and raise them myself. I have pet-sat and cared for many different animals, and I am comfortable administering pills and giving shots such as insulin. I have personally owned a variety of animals, including but not limited to; dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, bearded dragons, anoles, fish, guinea pigs, birds and even a millipede when I was in preschool. I am attending Worcester State completely on scholarship, and have a part time retail job while in school (full time supervisor position during the summer), but I know that as much as we love our pets, it can be difficult to ensure we can provide the care they need -- so I'm here to offer my services.
