Seeking care for my loved one in her 60s. Services needed: bathing / dressing, feeding, meal preparation, medication prompting, help staying physically active, mobility assistance, transportation, light housekeeping, errands / shopping. No prior experience required. Specialized care needs: CPR/first aid training, nursing experience. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my loved one: she can be energetic, pleasant, outgoing, reserved, independent. My aunt just recently moved back to Hawaii, she has a pretty high level of care. But she wants to maintain her independence as much as she can. Ultimately were looking for back up caregivers or potentially permanent caregivers that could eventually work through a care company approved with her insurance. She loves to get out adventure, and explore. One of her favorite things is to go to the beach and relax. I'm looking for someone who is patient, strong, outdoorsy. We would like someone that's experienced with an individual in a wheel chair. That will allow my aunt to maintain her independence and give her quality of care. The main needs for my aunt at the moment is her in home care. Helping get in and out of bed, into her chair, and do the bathroom. She would love to find someone that would be able to do that and maybe accompany her on outings to the beach or events.
