The Mission of Right Steps Child Development Centers is to provide and advocate for quality child care and early education. Right Steps operates four Early Care and Education Centers in the Greater Lafayette area that provide quality early learning services for children Monday through Friday between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Our centers serve up to 299 children at a time between the ages of six weeks to six years. Each of these centers offers a sliding fee scale to parents who cannot afford the child care fees. State Child Care Development Funding also subsidizes child care for parents who have a need. This funding pays up to the 75th percentile of the county market rate for care. This means that even child care vouchers do not fully cover the cost of care for most children. An average of 91% of our Right Steps child care slots are paid at a reduced rate, yet maintains the highest quality of care. All Right Steps Child Development Centers are licensed by the State of Indiana, and rated at the highest level on Indiana s Paths to QUALITY rating system. In an effort to go above and beyond licensing minimum standards, reflecting our commitment to providing high quality child care, each of our centers continually maintains national accreditation status from the National Association for the Education of Young Children. NAEYC accreditation involves 10 standards of excellence with 400 criteria, at least 80% of which must be met at all times. Our Goals -Provide consistent, nurturing child care that prepares each child for life-long success. -Support parents' ability to work and learn while raising their children. -Maintain licensed programs and high standards of quality with Indiana's Paths to QUALITY, and the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs Accreditation. -Advocate, educate, and contribute to high quality child care in efforts to improve the overall well-being of the community.

Im opening up my home for chilcare services. I have two kids so I know how expensive childcare can get. I have around 7 years of watching children, in a chilcare setting, through my own children and through watching other children. I have worked at Right Steps, Wabash Center and Littlestar ABA therapy. Your children will not sit in front of a tv all day. We will be doing crafts and I will be teaching them to get ready for kindergarten. My hours will be 6:30am-6pm. I will also be offering before and after school services for children who live in the Oakland elementary school district. I live about a block away from Columbian Park so when its warmer we will be taking trips to the park. I also have a backyard. I will provide reports everyday about what we did and if anything happened. If you have a child in diapers I ask that you provide diapers and wipes. Also each child will need an extra set of clothes. Full-time: $90 Part-time: $45 Before school: $25 After school: $25 Before and after school: $50 I will also offer sibling discounts.
