I do child care from my home. I never have more than 5 children including my daughter, in the home at any given time. This way I can give each child the attention they deserve. I am CPR certified and VERY experienced with kids. I have three girls; 9, 7 and 4. My 4 year old will be home with me for 1 more year, then she's off to kindergarten. Until then, she is ecstatic to have friends to play with! Kids have always been a passion of mine and I know how hard it can be to find someone you can trust, who will care for your little ones as they would their own. That got me to thinking, I want to be that person for other moms and dads! :) I am in the process of creating a play room in my home and have lots of space for the kids to run and play. I will have an organized schedule filled with learning, daily crafts/activities, healthy options for food, singing, dancing and lots of fun! We have a large sand box, kiddie pools, sprinkler, lots of outdoor toys as well as indoor toys and I make regular trips to the library to rent books and things to play with. I welcome anyone who may be interested to stop by and see our home and meet my family. ALL questions/comments are welcomed! There ARE good people out there that will treat your precious angels with the love and respect you would treat your own with and I am one of them. :) Please contact me if you are interested in setting up a meeting. I am looking forward to it!

Hello! I am a stay at home mom with 3 children of my own (and one on the way!). After having a baby last June I decided to quit my job to be home full-time with my kids. We have a fenced in backyard we enjoy spending time in. Walks around the block or to the nearby parks are a favorite too! While spending time indoors, I enjoy games and coloring with the kids as well as other crafts or activities I come up with. I believe in staying healthy therefore try to serve healthful lunches and snacks. However, cookies and popsicles are enjoyable too so we do splurge sometimes. =) I believe that every child is uniquely and equally created by God and love and treat each as my own!

HI! I am a 31 year old offering daycare in my home! My husband and I pride ourselves in keeping our non smoking home clean and safe. I want every child that comes into my home to feel they are safe while here! I also want them to enjoy their time here and have fun! Therefore, screen time is limited and we fill our days playing in the fenced in backyard with the sandbox, bubbles, play house, and many other outdoor toys! We like to get games going too and get our exercise in! When we cannot go outside, we play board games inside, read, color, learn our colors and shapes, play in the downstairs playroom, etc! I'm always on the lookout for new ideas and crafts to keep little hands and minds busy! While we have fun, we also practice sharing, kindness, manners and respect. We treat others as we want to be treated. We learn responsibility by picking up what we take our and help others when needed. I also serve healthy meals and snacks. I'm a firm believer in good nutrition so we eat our fruits and veggies and you will see 'organic' on many products in our home. A lot of my products are also gluten free. Every child is precious and unique in all their own little ways! It is my purpose to help them grow in their little personalities and love them like my own!

I am a 35 year old stay-at-home, super mom to two amazing, energetic, artistic, outdoorsy little boys. I am currently watching two other children in the afternoons, but am looking to add another little one or two to our crew. I am open to part-time mornings, 2-3 days a week full days, or after-school care in my home, and date night babysitting, which I am willing to come to your home for. A closer look at me.... I worked in the medical field for several years but felt a strong pull to stay home after my first son was born. Recently I have become a Book Lady with Usborne Books & More, so I never have a shortage of new and exciting books to explore. Along with my love of books, I enjoy all things crafty, encourage the children I care for to use their imaginations, and know the importance of daily outside play. While I don't mind a movie day now or then, I really strive to reduce screen time and would rather find something creative to keep my kiddos entertained. I am a non-smoker, have professional training in CPR and First Aid, and am a proud member of Young Living. I use only their all-natural products to clean my home and frequently diffuse essential oils to add to my calm, pleasant environment. I look forward to the opportunity to see how I may be of help to your family.

Our child care program uses perpetual motion as the backdrop to developing a child. We use a varied selection of sports and activities so that everyone will have to face challenges and overcome them. Our activities include kayaking, cross country skiing, hiking, running, archery, beach sports, skating, biking, and swimming. We make use of our local area to do these activities and show them all the different things they can do to be active where they live, give them the tools to do so, and encourage them to make it part of their daily lives. Our goal is to develop great kids not great athletes.

The Nestling Place is a 3 star daycare located conveniently between Racine and Kenosha on Sheridan Road. Our center is small and maintains a warm, home-like environment. We encourage children to explore and learn through the environment while providing a structured daily routine and daily lesson plans. We meet the development of all children through assessments, portfolios, and by tracking individual outcomes so that we can prepare lesson plans around the individual needs of the children in our care. Most importantly, we are a resource for the families and an advocate for both the children and the families that attend our center. The Nestling Place is also partnered with Birth to Three as we share the same building. Birth to Three services the families of children with special needs of Racine County. The center is unique in that we have experienced teachers that work with the therapists on site to provide the best care for children with special needs. We meet the needs of the children through lesson planning, room arrangements, and specialized trainings. Many of our teachers have experience with children with down syndrome, autism, specialized diets, ADHD, and g-tube feedings plus many more. Despite the challenges these children face, we encourage them to be themselves and as we help them grow intellectually, personally, socially, and physically. As a center, we encourage all children to work together and accept each other as they are. The children are encouraged to help one another and work with each other to accomplish different tasks and to play in different team sports. All children and their families were encouraged to participate as we met specific needs to make sure everyone could do so. Normal operating hours are 6am to 6:15pm Monday through Friday. We offer different pay rates and flexible schedule hours to accommodate all schedules, from the two income household to the full time student. We accept both private and 3rd party payments as well.
