Hello Families, My name is Janel and I am excited to venture into home childcare! I was the neighborhood babysitter growing up, have raised my own daughter with Montessori values, and have been teaching in Montessori preschools for 15 years. I began my Montessori toddler training in 1999 and have worked with children since then, with ages 3 months old to 5 years old. I have experience with twins, potty training, multi-age groups, and lots of toddler development. I have my fingerprint clearance card and references from parents, previous coworkers, and employers. I offer a home environment with love, structure, and education. I am passionate about the Montessori philosophy approach to education and independence - helping a child learn to do it themselves. Daily activities include story times, music and movement, outdoor activities, and arts and crafts. I love children and find caring for them to be a very rewarding experience. I am located near Shea Blvd. and available between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Full-time (5 days a week) childcare starts at $40/day for toddlers and $50/day for infants.
