Fair Grove, MO: Engaging, exciting, Christian, infant-toddler-preschool care As a Missouri licensed in-home childcare provider and a teaching mother of 25 years, you can be confident your child will be well cared for and educationally encouraged at their age level. Our daily schedule, tailored to stimulate your young one's development, includes daily reading, music, discovery play, and tactile times, along with outdoor activities and age-appropriate learning activities. Basic sign language is also introduced to encourage communication. Having taught many children to read, your pre-school child will have the opportunity to learn as well if they show interest. I use a phonics-based curriculum which allows young children to successfully sound out words and once they feel that accomplishment, they want to continue learning. I provide the highest quality in-home care and educational environment available. Your child will be loved, cared for, and taught just as if they were my own. Meals and snacks provided, which are mostly organic or hormone free. Smoke-free home. Hours 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Mon-Fri $215/week for children under 24 months $165/week children older than 24months. References and background checks provided. Exciting adventures await those who become a part of our friend family! Our facility is situated on 30 private acres that feature many delightful trails meandering through the woods, which ignite intrigue and inquiries in the minds of children. Discoveries become the center of attention as all rush to experience for themselves the subject of interest and pleasant discussions concerning their observations abound. Whether they are running down the hill or debating which animal left the scat behind, the wonder of nature works its magic in the hearts of children fortunate enough to have the privilege granted to discover its offerings. Our large outdoor playground boasts many different types of equipment to explore, sand to enjoy, and enough swings for all the children to swing at the same time, if they choose. With a minimum of two hours outside play daily, the children have the time and space to create or climb, skip or slide. Rainy days make for fun days as we break out the umbrellas and rain boots so the children can play in the rain or splash in the muddy water and just experience the joy of being a child. Wet or dirty clothes can all be changed, because the memories made, and the squeals of delight are priceless! With all this activity, hunger will eventually find its way to even the most ardent adventurer, but even then these children don’t settle for the ordinary. I realized that children eat more vegetables when these are served before other foods become available. As I expanded the daily vegetable options, I also extended the time to allow each child to eat as much of the six different varieties served daily as they desired, and the results have been astonishing! Raw, organic produce is the bulk of these offerings. Once the majority are no longer asking for additional vegetables, I begin to serve the other components of the meal. Having homeschooled my own children for over 25 years, I have a passion for teaching inquiring minds. Not only do we cover the basics in English, we also learn some American Sign Language, along with a sprinkling of Spanish thrown in for good measure. Come see for yourself why a visiting sibling recently pulled me aside to say, "I wish I were in preschool, so I could come here every day!"
