First of all, I love kids! I currently live with a 3-year-old, my niece. It is in my nature to treat any kids like they are my own, every woman has motherly instincts. I have cared for a family with two girls since 2008. I became their nanny for 2 years before they moved to the Houston area. I started caring for their daughter when she was only 3 years old, now she is 8 and they just had another girl back in 2011. Every time I watched her, I would travel to wherever she was and normally stay the night at their house because her parents worked late. I do not mind cooking and cleaning for a little extra cash. I also have helped raise my niece since she was born because of the fact that my sister still lives at home with our family. I work well with infants/toddlers. I am very patient when it comes to smaller children as I am aware of their short tempers and different attitudes toward certain things. I currently watch a 3-year-old boy only about 4 times a month, but I'm looking for a more stable situation. I am currently employed with a part-time job, but if a nannying position comes up, I will be more than willing to take it if the hours and wages are up to par. I enforce rules just as parents would. I love to interact with the kids through games, singing and dancing, and story telling. I think it is important to interact with children through music or song. I am very flexible with hours and late nights.
