About Zia

Hi there! My name is Zia. I am an experienced caregiver who has had the honor of working with people on both ends of the age/life spectrum from 4 months to 101 years old. As a caregiver I am collaborative, attentive, patient, and present. I am a creative problem solver and consistent communicator. I value providing care that makes people feel safe, seen, and empowered. I believe in showing up to work ready to be present and willing to meet people exactly where they are mentally, emotionally, and physically. My educational background of Eugene Waldorf School, followed by a public charter arts high school, and then University of Oregon influence how I interact with children. By default I provide screen free childcare. I love introducing art projects and opportunities for hands-on learning, and I encourage outdoor play time where curiosity can be explored.
