About Ashley

Before moving to Portland, I worked as a nanny for three years with ages 0-10. I moved to Portland in 2017 and gained experience working with children through Trackers Earth and Art4Life. I worked as a lead preschool teacher from the fall of 2019 to spring of 2021. I also led a kinder cohort to accommodate families at our preschool during covid. Through that job I gained further experience with ages 2-6 in an outdoor, child led and Reggio Emilia inspired program. I am comfortable creating a rhythm that helps children feel secure and supported to express themselves and explore their outer world through play. I also love to facilitate a variety of experiences to help children engage in their learning, and love to adventure outside of the home where families feel comfortable. -vaxxed + boosted, 50+ hours in ECE, clean driving record :)
