About Lucia

Hello, My name is Lucia! I'm an 18-year-old college student currently taking prerequisites for nursing school at Lane Community College. In my free time I enjoy volunteering at the cascade raptor center, creating art and music, and playing with my siblings and my boyfriend's little sister. As the oldest of six siblings, I've spent my whole life helping take care of kids, recently realizing I would love to work with kids full time. My passion for caregiving started when I shadowed a labor and delivery nurse a couple of years ago. That experience inspired me to earn my CNA license while still in high school. Since then, I've worked in a nursing home, where I learned so much about patience and empathy for those in pain.
