About Zalia

Hi! My name is Zalia, and I'm a student at the University of Texas at Austin, studying Accounting. I will be graduating this May and continuing on to pursue my Master's in Accounting at UT Austin. I am proficient in Spanish and French. Two summers ago, I had the opportunity to work as a camp counselor at Camp Champions for three months. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I helped children navigate challenges, build confidence, and overcome fears through role-playing, emotional support, and encouragement. I pride myself on being patient, empathetic, and adaptable qualities that helped me create a safe, supportive environment for every child in my care. I understand how important trust is when it comes to caring for children. My goal is to build strong, open relationships with both children and parents so they feel confident in my care. I'm also happy to assist with light housekeeping to make things a little easier for your family.
