About Yessia

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With many years of experience supporting elementary students in Math, English, Art, and Music (my mother is a twacher and founder of a long standing charter school) - I focus on building critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I often adapt my methods to your child's unique style by utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. When concepts feel difficult, I bridge the gap by connecting lessons to personal interests and celebrating every small success. I believe open communication with families is essential to fostering a collaborative environment where students feel confident. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a new skill finally clicks. I am dedicated to creating a patient, engaging space where your child can thrive. I truly look forward to supporting your student's growth and helping them fall in love with learning.
