About Yaya

Nurturing young minds and supporting families is my passion. I currently work with preschoolers in the classroom as a Pre-K assistant teacher and serve as a Literacy Lab tutor, helping children build strong reading and writing foundations. I also have a year of experience caring for children aged 4-11 outside of the classroom. I love creating engaging experiences through outdoor play, sports, board games, and educational apps that encourage both fun and learning. I'm patient, creative, and always prioritize a child's well-being. I provide regular updates through written reports, texts, or phone calls-whatever communication style you prefer. I am also comfortable reinforcing household rules to maintain consistency. Baby sitter available. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
