About Willow

Hello! My name is Willow, and I am a UCSD STEM graduate currently pursuing my teaching credential. I'm looking for a summer tutoring position where I can support students in a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment. After a year of student teaching in both kindergarten and third grade at Gault Elementary School, I've developed strong skills in lesson planning, creating engaging learning activities, and building patient, supportive relationships with children. I would describe my personality as calm, outgoing, and kind. I enjoy tutoring because I love helping students build academic confidence and discover that learning can be both rewarding and enjoyable. One of the most meaningful parts of tutoring for me is watching students gain confidence in their academic abilities.
