About Willow

Hi, I'm Willow! I'm originally from upstate New York, and moved to DC about a year ago. I have lots of experience working with kids of all ages, both babysitting/nannying and in a professional education setting. I graduated last year from Cornell University, and worked for the past year as an environmental educator with the Smithsonian! I'm currently applying to begin my masters in library science for the spring semester (online). I was lucky to form great relationships caring for a range of families for many years in NY, and I would love to make similar connections here in the DMV. As an educator, I'm very passionate about connecting with the natural world. I love animals--I created and led animal education programs at my local nature center in NY and at the Smithsonian-- and I love to be outside. I have my wilderness advanced first aid certification, so can keep kiddos safe and engaged on any outdoor adventure we tackle! I also love to read and create new crafts and activites!
