About Vita

Hi! My name is Vita, and I'm an 18-year-old college freshman at the University of Denver studying psychology. I've always loved working with kiddos and caring for others, which is a big part of why I chose to study psychology. I've been working with kids for years and started early as a mother's helper at age 10. Since then I have built long-term relationships with families, gaining experience caring for children of different ages and personalities. I also worked as a summer camp counselor throughout all of high school, volunteering for two different camps each summer for 2-3 weeks at a time. Through this, I learned to manage large groups of children in high energy situations, while assisting and engaging them in a variety of activities. I love creating fun, engaging experiences for kids. Some of my personal hobbies include crafting and baking which I love to bring into my work with children. I also have reliable transportation, so I enjoy outings or adventures of all kinds!
