About Veronica
Hi, my name is Veronica and I'm currently a fourth year student at UCLA. After graduating this spring, I will be preparing to apply to medical school. During this stressful time that COVID-19 has brought upon on, I am completing my courses online. With that being said, I am available to offer online or part time tutoring to students. Science is my favorite subject, but I am capable of helping with others as well. I also am capable of helping kids of all ages, from younger kiddos with basic reading/spelling skills to high schools with book reports. Veronica is wonderful! She is calm, caring & my kids love her! We hired her after we had our 2nd baby to help get us through the after-school crush of homework/dinner/bedtime, since my husband was often at work during that time & I was overwhelmed. She was a great companion for our kindergartner & was very helpful with his homework. She is a natural tutor & was always very patient with him. Veronica was also very good at keeping me & the kids on schedule & making sure nothing in our routine was forgotten. Even though she spent most of her time with our 4/5 year-old, she was also able to handle dinnertime & bedtime for both kids on her own, which meant my husband & I even got an occasional date-night! Since COVID & school closures, we've continued to hire Veronica as a tutor (via Zoom) for our now-1st grader. I've been impressed with how she's been able to adapt & provide worthwhile instruction during less-than-ideal circumstances. I'm happy to provide further reference.
