For the past eight years, I've been dedicated to helping students thrive academically. My college degrees equipped me with a strong foundation to tutor English and Science for elementary, middle, and high school students. I create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I actively listen and observe my students, varying my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples helps keep students motivated. Open communication is essential to understand your student's needs and build trust. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car, speak English and Spanish, and am comfortable with pets.
