About Grace

Learning comes alive when students feel confident and supported, and that's what I strive to provide. For the past six years, I've been a tutor, helping students from elementary through high school excel in math, English, science, and study skills. As a certified teacher with some graduate school experience, I focus on empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I assess individual learning styles by varying my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions, while encouraging open communication. To keep students motivated, I celebrate small successes, break down complex problems, and foster curiosity through interactive discussions. I believe open communication builds trust and a collaborative environment among student, parent, and tutor. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor.
