I like working with kids because they are loving, fun & curious I started working with kids when I was 25 years old, for the first time, when I used to work at Fauntleroy Child Center while in school. In 2023, I again started babysitting, part-time. In my spare time, I like to workout (yoga, barre, Pilates), meditate, walk in nature, read, watch shows, get together with friends & more. One thing you should know about me is I am spontaneous yet reliable. I prefer not to plan things too far in advance but I enjoy the discipline of the daily routine. My skills include patient, compassionate, engaging, a team player. I have an MD degree in pediatrics from foreign medical school (don't practice medicine here). We hired Valerie to help us with our busy toddlers (age 2 & 3.5) a few days a week. The kids immediately loved playing with her and always had fun stories about their time at the playground with Valerie. My husband and I felt like our kids were always safe and supported when they were with Valerie. Valerie would come with special games or snacks for the kids and was extremely thoughtful in her approach with play and kid time. Around the house, Valerie was always keeping things clean and extra tidy, bringing it upon herself to finish laundry, organize kitchen spaces or teach the kids manners/independence. We absolutely loved having her and plan on hiring her again!
