About Twila

Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for! I offer after-school and summer care in my home for children in preschool through 5th grade. With over ten years of experience, I taught elementary grades in public school for more than 25 years. I also hold a graduate degree and am certified in special education for grades K-12 in Florida. I am experienced with special needs. Parents appreciate my patient, calm, friendly, and approachable personality. I provide regular updates via text or phone call, and always follow your preferred communication method. I am comfortable following your household rules. I love playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I am happy to help with crafts and swimming supervision. I am comfortable caring for up to 5 children, ages 4-11. I am so excited to partner with you in your child's development!
