About Imani

Greetings, families! I work full-time as an elementary art teacher in Seminole County Public Schools. My hometown is Tallahassee, Florida. I attended TSC to obtain my AA degree and then transferred to FAMU and graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I graduated fully certified and with 3 endorsements: reading, ESOL, & pre-k ESE. Attentive, consistent, thoughtful and creative are three words that I would use to describe myself. While in college, I worked at an elementary after school/summer camp program (2 yrs), I babysat for a family, twin girls (3rd grade) and their older sister (5th grade) (2 1/2 yrs), and I worked at a summer camp pre-k-5th teaching art, math, and ELA ( 1 Summer). Before my current position, I taught 6th grade ELA teacher at a middle school in SCPS. Additionally, I am Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified (American Red Cross). I feel confident and experienced with babysitting children ages 4-13! I am 23 years old. Thank you kindly.
