About Trista

I am a senior in college pursuing my Elementary Education degree and working toward becoming a certified teacher. Teaching is my true passion! Over the past 3 years, I've worked in a public school supporting students with a variety of academic and behavioral needs. In addition, I have 2. 5 years of experience in special education working with students with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome. Through this, I've developed strong skills in adapting instruction, creating accommodations, and tailoring lessons to meet each student's unique learning style and goals. I am organized, patient, creative, and skilled at building positive relationships with students. My experience has allowed me to design engaging, individualized learning activities that build confidence and support academic growth. I strive to create tutoring sessions that are effective, enjoyable, and aligned with each child's grade level and goals.
