About Tommie

Hi! I have over 6 years of experience as a nanny and babysitter, and I've also worked as a swim coach and math tutor. I've always loved working with kids, getting to know their personalities, and finding fun ways to help them learn and grow. I'm especially interested in developmental psychology and children's education. After several years in corporate strategy, I decided to switch paths and pursue a degree in social work. I care a lot about people and community, and wanted to do something more hands-on. I love SF and the Bay Area, especially its local arts, music, and community scenes. I've gotten to know lots of artists and musicians here and love being part of such a creative place. Outside of work, I love cooking, crafting, and exploring the city. I'd be excited to share those interests with the kids I care for, whether that's trying a new recipe, making something together, or heading out on a little adventure!
