About Jordan

I've been a professional sitter for the past 3+ years with ages ranging from infant to teenager. One of the many joys of the job has been meeting incredible families, from single parents to full households, and making a fun and beautiful connection with them. I love children of all ages because each step in a child's growth has something new to offer as does the uniqueness of each child. It's wonderful to bond over their favorite activity or interest, help them learn and learn from them, and have an added excuse for tapping into my own imagination to combined forces for some truly magical fun! It's important to talk with a child, not at them. Some kids like to try to sneak in their own rules so I've learned to talk about the household rules and guidelines with the parent and child (w/ consideration of age) at the same time so everyone knows we're on the same page with the same expectations.
