About Tiana
Experience: 12 yrs
I started working with kids when I was 16 teaching preschool dance. I also began working summer camps for young children & babysitting. I taught throughout my years in college where I went to school for Human Development & Family Studies. For 2 years I worked for an early childhood education center and completed my senior internship at a high school teaching Freshman & Juniors. I held my substitute teaching license for 2 years & worked as a long-term sub for a 1st grade classroom. I am currently on track to receive my NC teaching license & will be teaching 4th grade ELA for the 26/27 school year. I love working with kids because it never truly feels like work. There is so much to be learned from children & how they are always thinking outside the box. Every day is different & filled with love & pure enjoyment. In my spare time, I like to get lost in a book, go to concerts, hike in nature, & spend time with my friends & family, especially my fur babies Penelope & Sebastian.
