About Shayla

I am the child of a 2nd grade teacher so I have been around children my entire life. I have been babysitting since the age of 14 and have worked multiple child care jobs in multiple environments. I have worked at Lifetime Fitness as a supervisor in the Kids Academy, watching children from ages 3 months to 11 years old and at the YMCA as an after school counselor for elementary school children. I have worked in private home settings with families with single and multiple children. I am currently working in the ABA field in a clinical setting working with kids. I am currently planning to go back school but I am very diligent when it comes to communicating availability. I am open to overnights and weekends when communicated with enough time. I follow the lead of my families but overall aim to teach empathy for all, caring and compassion for others, and self advocacy as much as possible.
