Hi! My name is Tess, and I'm a tutor with nearly a decade of experience working with kids and teens. Over the last 10 years, I've spent more than 3, 000 hours in teaching and mentoring roles-everything from working as a summer camp counselor to peer education programs to private in-home tutoring. I'm experienced with a wide range of topics, including ACT, SAT, and AP test prep, but I especially enjoy tutoring middle and high school math. For me, the best part of tutoring is "lightbulb moments," when a student realizes they're actually capable of mastering a concept they once found impossible.
