About Elisa

I believe that each student should use their natural interests and passions to drive their studies. By learning and listening, I help students find their passion areas and use them to motivate their studies. As a former ADHD kid, I understand the struggles students have focusing. I'd describe my personality as fun, passionate, and patient. I like tutoring because I enjoy learning about students and the topics at hand. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be creative in how I approach working with students. I started tutoring when I was a high school volunteer working with elementary school students. In my spare time, I like to draw, run and paint! One thing you should know about me is I am a Christian (Catholic specifically). I will never force my faith on a student, but it does inform my choices regarding patience, kindness, and the inherent worth of each human person. My skills include engaging with students, learning about their interests, and directing their passions.
