About Taylor

As an 8th grade math teacher and former math major, empowering students to reach their full potential drives my approach to education. With a year of experience, I specialize in Math and Test Preparation for students ranging from elementary school through college. I believe that true success comes from building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my strategies--using visual aids, discussions, or hands-on practice--to fit your unique style. When concepts become difficult, I break them into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with you and your family to ensure we are always aligned. Witnessing your "aha!" moment when a complex problem finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I am truly excited to support your academic journey.
