About Taylor

My background: I am a Registered Nurse, graduate and Valedictorian of CSU Long Beach in 2021. I tutored throughout college, about 4 years of experience. I specialize in chemistry, algebra, and geometry, and I have experience with SAT prep, general middle school/high school classes, and high school Spanish. My method: Learning comes alive when it's engaging, supportive, and patient, and that's the environment I strive to create. I have fine tuned my ability to empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for lasting success. Communication is key, so I am open-minded and happy to tailor my approach for the needs of my clients. I like to break down complex problems into manageable steps, allowing for knowledge to grown upon itself. Seeing your confidence grow as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of tutoring.
