I have a college degree and one year of experience tutoring students in math, English, sports & fitness, and business. I vary my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I encourage open communication about what methods work best. Regular updates help parents stay informed and reinforce learning at home. I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am CPR and First Aid trained.
