About Tara

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in making Math and Sports & Fitness accessible and engaging. I prioritize a patient, supportive environment where I tailor my methods--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or real-world examples--to match your child's unique learning style. I believe that open communication with families is essential to building the trust needed for academic growth. I find my greatest joy in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a difficult concept and gains newfound confidence. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every success, I help students build lasting momentum. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications. I look forward to partnering with your family to help your student thrive and discover the joy in learning.
