About Allyson
Experience: 9 yrs
I am finishing my ninth year teaching elementary students and am K-8 certified in Maine. I am over halfway through my master's degree in Assessment, Curriculum, and Instruction. I have more than 20 years of experience working with children, including infants through elementary ages in nannying and daycare settings. While I have not formally tutored before, I have supported students with diverse strengths and needs, including English learners and those below grade level in math and reading. I enjoy helping children build confidence and a love of learning using engaging games and strategies.
