About Emily

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. As a Certified teacher with three years of experience, I specialize in helping elementary students build confidence in Math and English. I believe true mastery comes from fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By observing how a student interacts with new material, I tailor my approach to their individual style. I keep lessons engaging by connecting challenging concepts to personal interests and celebrating every small success. Clear, consistent communication with parents is vital to me, as it builds the trust necessary for a collaborative environment. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am ready to support your child in your home, at the library, or online, and I look forward to helping your student grow.
