We hired Tara for a two-week job with pay at the end of each week, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience. She worked one full day at our home caring for our 1-year-old, only to text us at 9:30 p.m. that same evening, informing us she hadn’t felt well throughout her shift and had taken an at-home COVID-19 test. When we asked if she had tested positive, she didn’t respond until 10:30 p.m. the next night, simply saying, "Yes, here's my Venmo if you want to pay me for yesterday." When we replied asking how she was feeling, she didn’t respond and only emphasized the picture of her Venmo tag. This behavior was not only rude but also highly unprofessional. Tara wasted our time and showed no concern for the health risks she exposed our family to, nor the significant inconveniences she caused. Her lack of communication and disregard for our family’s well-being is unacceptable, and we do not recommend working with her.
