I believe everyone can excel with the right support. For the past two years, I've been creating engaging and patient learning environments working both as a tutor and as a substitute teacher where students develop critical thinking skills. I actively listen and observe to understand individual learning styles, adapting my methods with visual aids, activities, and open discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to parents, fostering trust and collaboration. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. I have a college degree in Philosophy and English and can help with English at all levels. I am comfortable tutoring in various locations. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
