As a certified teacher with 10 years of classroom experience, I'm passionate about helping students unlock their unique potential. I assess individual learning styles by actively listening and varying my teaching strategies, like visual aids and hands-on activities. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating small successes. Communication is essential; I maintain open dialogue with students and parents to ensure optimal outcomes. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am comfortable working with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504).
