About Sydney

I have been tutoring for about 8 years and before that I worked at an after school program that included tutoring. I have my bachelors in Human Development and Families from ASU. I have an English teaching credential from National University. I am AVID and ERWC training and have some GLAD training. I love tutoring students in reading and writing as well as organizational skills. I have 5 years of experience teaching high school English as well as suppourt classes (similar to AVID). I also have taught kindergarten and have several years of substituting experience through out K-12 class rooms including long term assignments in 4th and 5th grade and middle school science. I love teaching kids about the outdoors and incorporating real life into learning. I have privately tutored students age 4-12 and the last 5 years I have taught high school primarily 9th and 11th graders. I would love to hear the needs of your family!
